Pest Control - Appleton

Our first experience since Wil-Kil merged with Terminix has been very frustrating. An appointment set up for 9/12/2024 sometime between noon and 4PM (ridiculously long timeframe IMHO) resulted in a complete no-show. No phone call, nothing. After calling them back shortly before 5PM the woman suggested we try to reschedule. Ummm, I don't think so. After wasting half of a beautiful day waiting for no one to show, I think we'll go elsewhere for our extermination needs. We have used Wil-Kil for sixteen years and were happy with their service until recently. I should have known this merger would not be an improvement.

Jeff always calls in advance to confirm an upcoming appointment and he also calls when he is on the way. He is thorough and considerate of my property when applying the spray product. I have been approached by multiple other companies but I see no need to change what has worked for me for the past 10 years.

We've been a Wil-Kil customer for well over a decade and have always been pleased with their level of service, until this year. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the Terminix merger, but the dependability of service is now horrible in this area. Earlier this year we had a no-call /no-show for an application, so I called customer service. They apologized and rescheduled service for two weeks out. On the day of the rescheduled service, it was once again a no-call /no-show. I again called customer service who apologized and offered me a $40 discount on the application. I had previously made up my mind that I was going to terminate our service with them, but the $40 discount convinced me to give them another try, so I rescheduled, which I now regret because for the THIRD STRAIGHT TIME they were a no-call /no-show. Enough is enough. I didn't care if they offered me a free application. I called to cancel their service. After a very lengthy time with customer service and being put on hold several times while he "checked on something" he tried transferring me to the department that handles cancellations. Unfortunately, they were too busy to take my call and I was given the option of being put in the queue or requesting a call back. As I was already on the phone longer than I cared to be, I requested a call back. That was three days ago and I still have not received that call back. Ridiculous. I don't know what's going on with Wil-Kil, but after at least 12 years of loyal patronage, this is no longer a company I care to do business with. I'll credit them with one star for their past great service.

Worst service ever...thinking about hiring these jokers?...think again. Promises after promises of showing up and hear nothing but excuses...we went with another company and it was the best decision we made.

Tech is always thorough. Had a minor hiccup with wasp nests starting after treatment and they responded immediately. Very professional.

Second scheduled day that no one has showed up! First excuse when I called to say no one came, the lady said the notes say they didn’t come because of weather. It was a beautiful sunny day here! Lie number one! In June I had called for an additional service that is in our plan; again no call, no scheduling. When people work they have to make certain someone is at the home to let the tech in. We scheduled someone to be here to open the house…. sat here all day and no tech came. Twice! What kind of business is this???? What a joke!

Charges without consulting, tech doesn't talk to us except when needs signuture, but responds quickly to calls and comes regularly to maintain.
