Pest Control - Palestine

I only give one star because I have to give at least one to leave a review. We got dreaded bed bugs on vacation. I have a 3 bedroom home. Called terminex. The inspector that came out said the infestation was not bad and they would get it treated with a 6 month guarantee for a whopping $2050. We paid it because we can’t just live with bed bugs and the inspector advised us that the chemical they use to treat them is very expensive and isn’t available to the public, and that the process for treating bed bugs is so time consuming and labor extensive that they barely break even on the service and that’s why they have to charge so much. We paid and it took 3 days for them to come do the treatment. The man that came to do the treatment was in my home less than 40 min. That includes time spent putting mattress covers on and treating the living room furniture and the whole rest of the house. I was shocked. The contract says they are supposed to come back twice after the initial treatment every two weeks. No one ever came or called me. I reached out and they sent someone out two days later. He was literally in my home for 22 minutes from start to finish. The next two weeks go by and I call and am told someone will contact me to schedule. Never received any communication. Then I was advised by a disgruntled employee that the chemical used for bedbug treatment is Gentrol and it’s available to anyone on Amazon for $50 per concentrated bottle. Absolutely appalling that they price gauge people so severely for $50 pesticide and 30 min of the company’s time when we were told that the process is so labor extensive and expensive that they don’t even make money off of it. Found another bed bug. Call back again and ask to speak with management for our branch. I was told again someone will contact me within 24-48 BUSINESS HOURS and there is no way to contact management, they have to reach out to me. Still waiting. Again, the level of audacity it takes to price gauge people so severely and then provide this low of a level of customer service. 0/10 do not recommend.

Matthew, the Supervisor came along for our first visit. He was very patient and friendly and explained the whole process.

It is really hard to find reliable service and people who will talk with you straight these days. I called Terminix because I wanted professionalism, and results; I could not be much happier with out experience. We had some general confusion at the onset (which was really my own fault for not being educated about the process) but they worked with me to make sure we all knew and agreed upon what our expectations were. I had a lot of questions, they've answered every one, and they continue to follow up to ensure we are satisfied. We will continue to use Terminix to solve all of our current and future pest extermination needs.

I have used Terminix in Palestine Texas since 2016. Thought I was getting good service until I found out they never de webbed, which is part of the contract. Tech came out the other day, Jared was courteous and for the first time dewebbed my home, great guy, should be training other techs. I tried to contact his manager Matthew S. Several times and he never returned calls. He did text me to say he was canceling my contract. I have always paid and am proud.to say I fired him. He was the rudest, whinniest.excuse.for a manager. If he worked.for me I would fire him. That's how Terminex thinks of your good pay history and patronage. AVOID, don't care about you, just your money

Lucas is an outstanding communicator and employee. He takes time to explain and make sure the customer feels confident with the work he preformed.

Alton introduced himself and explained exactly what he was doing. His personality was like being with family and my dog even liked Alton! This was my first experience with Terminix in TX, however, I was a Terminix customer in Michigan for at least 20 years before moving down here. Having someone like Alton allows me to trust things will be taken care of and done right. Thank you!

Automatic scheduled service of my facility. Text messages in advance on the next upcoming treatment, message letting me know when technician is on his way and then another message letting me know when service has been completed. Also receive message when monthly fee is charged to my card.

Took care of everything and was super nice

This is the first time since we moved into this house that a service professional asked to treat the attic of my house. He went above and beyond of what I had expected. Thank you.
