Tried to cancel and fill out an exit survey and everything and I still had notices my bill was due. Called and found out they "sent the request to term my plan to the wrong department." Also their billing is messed up. If you have two services, they bill you whenever. It's never the same day per month due to "an issue with their billing system." We're done. Unless they forgot to send the second term request to the wrong department.🙄

The management at Austin Terminix doesn't return multiple phone calls - and I've been a great customer for years. The pest service is good. The mosquito service is ineffective and it's expensive- i complained multiple times. I finally cancelled. They no longer have a phone number in austin so you get a national call center who took my cancelation order. A few days later i learned that the austin manager un-canceled my cancelation! to make matters worse he/she charged me for a month i never recevied service. I called at least 4 times. No return calls. there is no way to get a manager or supervisor on the phone. I challenged the charge on my credit card and these unethical people just charged me again. THEY SUCK

I was asked if there was a room I could put my dog in for 45 minutes because the spray needs to dry. Terminix needs to do better. You cannot assume all customers are sitting at home waiting on a service call when they are not even aware it is scheduled. Not cool.

- EPEmma PennisiAustin TPCL 924414Had perfectly acceptable pest control services for years but in most recent inspection we were told we had a rodent problem. Terminix told us we would have exclusion work done with traps set. In the process of doing exclusion we started to notice a paint-like Chemonics smell. After the technician finished we noticed it getting stronger and called to ask what was used. The technician and operations manager repeatedly told us no chemicals were used, that it was probably faulty AC system installation, and to use fans to ventilate the house (it was 100 degrees outside). 24 hours later the operations manager reached to say he was mistaken, a sealant was used. The chemical sheet indicated it was highly toxic and possibly carcinogenic. He offered no further solution than to continue ventilation. A week later we noticed the house was smelling like dead animals and it intensified over the day. The technician was unresponsive when we asked him to come check the traps. Terminix said no service appointments were available for a week and the office had closed for the day, the best we could do was contact them in the morning. I had to personally go in the attic and remove dead rats, but without knowing where all the traps were placed it is impossible to know if there are more. Customer service has been beyond unhelpful, from the people in Austin to corporate numbers, never offering solutions and telling us they’ll get back to us (but never following up). Long story short, there are plenty of other pest control services—go elsewhere.

Recently, I had an invasive wasp swarm on the corner of my house and the paper wasps were being aggressive to me and my family. Michael Fox came to my house and was able to exterminate the paper wasps, and educate me of where they were swarming and how to prevent them from returning next season. I'm extremely grateful to the whole Terminix team! I will always highly recommended the Terminix team!
