It's time to sue Terminix. Not only have they double charged me at the very beginning of my contract (June 2024) and I had to go through my bank to have the issue rectified, but today I was told by their employee Won, that if I wasn't willing to purchase the new mosquito contract that they offer then he won't be able to come out to do an inspection, which is covered under my current contract. So basically if I'm not willing to purchase another contract and give Terminix more money, then they won't honor my current contract. I will be procuring legal representation today for breach of contract terms. This company is expensive and they have the nerve to not honor contracts.

My wife and I have been trying to speak with someone including the service manager and branch manager for several weeks now without success. We have left several messages and emails with customer service without response. We continue to have a problem with pest control despite having the exclusion service. A technician was supposed to come today to attempt to remedy the issue (again); however, 1. we had no idea he was coming until another technician told us (Josh is not our regular technician) 2. all the tech did was walk into the basement and then told my mother-in-law that someone would be back in a week or 2 to set traps. We pay for the exclusion service and are still having an issue. In addition, previously, we had a scheduled technician that either never showed or reported that they did come and the service was completed (fraud!?). In addition, we pay for the mosquito service and have had difficulty sitting on the deck the last few nights. I have put another request for a manager to call me this morning.

Attendant arrived on time was friendly and asked about my problem areas, and I said it was carpenter, bees, and ants. He treated the back Deck for carpenter bees, and the inside for ants.

Absolutely horrific experience time and time again. Communication is non-existent. Timeliness is non-existent. They don't show up within time windows, sometimes even on the correct day. When they do they come ill-prepared for the job that was described prolonging to another visit, assumedly to make it the next "tech's" problem. The only thing they seem to be competent with is running payments, they certainly do that on time, every time. To top it off we finally get a manager involved, to get someone dispatched with some urgency. Though they were late they did indeed show up! With no information, whatsoever, as to what they were supposed to do. So now we see the manager is ALSO incompetent. The icing on the cake when the "tech" has left and my wife messages the manager back to once again voice dissatisfaction, she now gets a message back from the manager (mea nt for the technician) to "vacuum and spray odiban if you have it, make her happy." How ridiculously unprofessional can you possibly be, with being as Incompetent as they have also repeatedly proven to be. I have put more effort in to this review than they have in doing their job, in months. TL;DR Stay far far away. They will take your money, and fix 0 problems. EDIT: apparently the incompetence doesn't stop. The EMAIL they tell you to send to doesn't work. Absolutely hilarious.

We were long term customers until Terminix charged us to spray the exterior of our house that they did not treat. The technician advised us that he was on his way to the property but failed to get the access code to our gate. Without the access code, he could not reach the house to spray, yet charged us. After numerous phone calls and texts trying to resolve this issue, Terminix would not refund our money, would not connect us with the local office or give us the direct phone number. A representative from Terminix said they would go out to do what they did not do, except that we no longer had a service agreement with us, so it was not possible. We were unable to communicate with one person about this issue to reach a resolution, instead we had to re-explain the issue every time we called, even if the calls were within five minutes of each other.

Eric is the Technician that comes to my property and keeps it mouse and bug free. He is GREAT!! Always keeps me informed.

Really did not like dealing with this company. Talked to 3 people who all explained the services differently. First tech guy showed up for the appointment with no call beforehand and didn't totally do what was described on the phone...no house inspection, just a spray for ants that took 10 minutes and was not worth the price I paid. The guy for the follow-up appointment showed up hours earlier than scheduled, when I wasn't home, and I never got a call about it... so I unknowingly rushed home for the scheduled time block to wait for someone who'd already come and then I never got the follow-up service. So frustrated I just cancelled the whole account. I'll use someone else in the future.

Phone# listed for Plymouth Meeting leads to a Call Center. Impossible to reach local office by phone. Our Technician gave his cell#, which he never answers? He told us he'd be back today to empty mouse traps. Call Center said there are no appointments available till Monday? Do yourself a favor and go with a local exterminator that actually answers their phone. Avoid 'big' companies like Terminex. Businesses that don't answer their phones directly, should be avoided, so there's no runaround with respect to communication & service.

Our entire Terminix experience has been a mess. It started with the tech having a scheduled date and time for canister installation service. He came at another time when no one was home and installed less than what was promised by the sales agent. We should have known they wouldn't operate with the utmost honesty. After moving forward, we continued to see swarming. My husband called and was told that we needed to give it a little more time. Welp, we now know that canisters are not the way to treat swarmers so they clearly offered us the wrong treatment for our situation. We paid over $1k for a service that was never intended to respond to our problem and hasn't. In the 1 year anniversary I called because we had swarmers again. Another tech comes out to check the canisters as we approached the year mark. From that, we learned a lot from an experienced Terminix rep. Fast forward a month or so, another person comes out and disrespectfully stood up on the back of our furniture to look into our basement's drop ceiling. We needed to ask him multiple times to get down exclaiming, "would you want us to come stand on your furniture"? It was all a mystery and he wanted to follow up to see if there are any changes. A couple weeks later, we notice a monthly service fee charged to our credit card used to pay for the initial service. They advise we needed to pay that fee or they would come remove the canisters we paid over $1k for. I called again and asked to speak with a Manager - I am prepared to escalate this issue. They have the wrong family for this foolishness. I had a Termite inspection scheduled with Monty on May 31, 2024 btwn 1pm-3pm. By 3:15pm it was obvious that Monty wasn't coming at all, so I called him and my call was sent to voicemail. I then proceeded to text him "Hey Monty what's going on? No call , no text, no show? As I write this on June 14th I still haven't received a response from Monty or his service manager Jeremy. The customer service representatives who have taken my calls for the past 2 weeks have been more professional and communicative than the management at this location. Today I informed the representative that "no technician from this office is to step foot on my property and no quarterly payments will be made moving forward." This is the SECOND no show, no call, no text so as far as im concerned Jeremy and his technician Monty breached my service contract. They also owe me $150 for the 4.5 hours of my time from work. Perhaps now they will contact me now that my issue has been escalated to a Corporate Advocate. Jeremy you have my information because I left a message on your personal voicemail.

I had broken the plastic top on one of my bait traps with the lawn mower and a technician came out to replace the top. After he left I was wondering what is going to keep it from happening again?

I would give no star if I could! What a company it is! Years ago, the sales just stopped returning your call or message after you signed the contract! Never answer your questions! And now, it looks like you can't get tid of it, you can stop the service you don't want anymore. I called to cancel pest control service. The representative on the phone said it has been cancelled. Then three months later I still got a remind saying tomorrow will your pest control service day! I called again. The technician still showed up. Thanks that I'm home and I let him leave. Then two week later, no remind calls thia time, the aame person came says it's for another service. I let him do his job. And today I got a bill for pest control! What's wrong with your people? Keep coming to do some service we didn't ask and force us to pay for what we don't need! And the customer service call is so hard to connect!

So today is or maybe was because if they don’t call or show up by 1 I will be cancelling, my first appointment with them which my tech supposed to to arrive from 10-12. It is now 12:45pm and I know nothing, No ETA, no phone call no text message no email. I find this very unprofessional that there is no communication with your clients about you arriving late or not coming at all. I think I might go back to Orkins since I never had this problem with them.

If i could give a no star review I would. I had a flea problem a home and called for a technician to come out. The first time they came on time, probably because it was the first service and they weren't paid yet. After the first service, they said if there is still a flea problem then call them back and schedule another service. Which I did after 2 weeks, but I was rescheduled for the service FOUR times. Each time I called to make sure the technician is coming and they keep confirming that they are, but then around 7pm I get a text saying the technician couldn't make it (probably because I already paid so they don't care anymore) . FOUR times this happen, so I basically wasted FOUR days waiting for a technician to come by and they waited till end of the day to tell me, which is ridiculous. I had to called and talk to a manager which took TWO days to get ahold of and it was finally resolved after the 5th schedule. Long story short, I'm never using them again and if anyone use there service be wary because after you paid, then you'll probably get reschedule mutiple times without notice.
