One tech said he was coming out to treat one thing, but knew nothing about the boric acid treatment in our cellar we paid extra for. At this rate I don’t feel confident that what we were needing treated will be done in a correct or timely manner.

I ended up continuing to have pest issues and had to call another company come out to spray. I scheduled my appointment on Thursday afternoon for someone to come out on Friday after we closed on our new home that had been vacant for a while so there were a lot of bugs. I booked Terminix specifically because they stated they could be there within 24 hours. I called on Friday before the two hour time slot to confirm someone would be coming and they did confirm. No one ever showed up, the branch wouldn’t pick up their phones. I spent 30 minutes waiting on the customer service line to pick up. I called the next morning and finally someone called me back saying they would send someone out that day (Saturday). They didn’t show up again after we waited around for hours. I spent two days waiting around in an empty house with no furniture and bugs every where and no one ever showed up. Finally someone showed up on Sunday to do the pest control. The technician who came out was great but no one ever apologized for the inconvenience, they still charged me over $200 for the one time service even after the inconvenience. I will not recommend or be using their services in the future. The least they could have done was apologize and give me some sort of discount for the major inconvenience and wasting a good amount of my weekend.

The person that came out for a free inspection and talk us through everything seemed super nice from the get go and we were very comfortable signing with Terminix. It was between Terminix and a small locally owned business. We decided to go with Terminex thinking that the big corporation would be better and because they said that they could get us treated next day. There was a $50 discount that we could have gotten at the beginning if we signed up online. The person that sold us the contract told us that because we were signing up in person and not online that they could not apply it from the get go but that it would be applied to the next month's bill. He told me to text him to remind him because he needed to talk to his Branch manager in the morning to have him apply it (I did text him). I was also told I would get a call from Terminix between 8-10 to get scheduled the next day and never received one. After multiple texts messages and starting not to hear back from him I called and left a vm around 4:45 basically saying I was super frustrated and within my 3 days to cancel the account and was thinking of doing so because I couldn't get a straight answer of when we were getting serviced. He finally called me back and told me that there was a lag in the iPad submitting my contract and that I would get serviced the next day. We did get serviced the next day. During the initial visit with the salesperson, I had told him that during our house inspection we were told that 2 of our trees needed to be treated for carpenter ants and I asked him if that was something that they would be able to do during servicing and he specifically told us yes, they could douse the trees with the solution. I mentioned it to the technician that came out to make sure it would be done and he said he absolutely couldn't do it and they couldn't touch trees. I texted the salesperson back and forth and it didn't really go anywhere. So now we're stuck spending more money because someone lied to us. Also, of course, whenever the first monthly payment came out, the $50 credit was not applied. I texted the salesperson about it and I basically got a text message saying that they were too busy and to call the 800 customer service line which of course, when you call, you have to wait on hold until you get a service provider. Thankfully, I believe the service provider did apply it to my next month. We'll see. The frustration is that I have a one year old that makes it very hard for me to make phone call. I did everything on my part that I was told to do in order to get the credit. I feel it should have been them to go out of their way even if they were too busy to do so instead of having me to do it. There are other frustrations but it is what it is at this point. We've already spent the money.
