Bed bug control for businesses

A fast-breeding bed bug infestation in your business leaves no time for do-it-yourself pest control or inexperience. Effective treatment of bed bugs takes specialized expertise and the right tools to eliminate the threat. If bed bugs are present in your business, we'll find them and customize a plan to eliminate and control bed bugs to protect your brand, customers, and employees. Here are some of our bed bug methods that your Technician may use:

  • Bed bug inspection ‐ Technicians will thoroughly inspect the room(s) where bed bugs are suspected. They will focus on areas commonly plagued by bed bugs, including, but not limited to, mattresses, box springs, headboards, furniture, and bedding. If bed bugs are found, they will also inspect adjacent rooms/units, as bed bugs spread easily. Recurring inspections are an option to identify bed bug activity before it becomes an issue.
  • Canine bed bug inspection ‐ Third-party certified canines are specially trained to identify the smell of bed bugs and viable eggs. Their keen sense of smell will allow them to identify the presence of bed bugs in mere minutes, significantly cutting down the time needed for a human to visually inspect for bed bugs. Canines have an extremely high level of accuracy, and their human partners will always visually verify the detection.
  • Conventional bed bug treatment ‐ Technicians will apply pesticide materials on non-contact surfaces where bed bugs are located to eliminate them. Some treatments may require a follow-up visit because of the nature of bed bugs. Depending on the infestation location, a variety of materials may be used to best establish control. In areas where pesticides cannot be applied, steam treatments may be used as an alternative solution.
  • Heat treatment ‐ As an alternative to conventional treatment (where available), heat treatments use industrial-grade heaters to raise the temperature of the infested space to kill all stages of bed bugs. The advantage of this service is it can eliminate a bed bug infestation in one day, whereas conventional treatments may require more than one visit. Heat treatment is often combined with spot treatment of conventional pesticides where required for additional protection.
  • Mattress encasements ‐ Encasements protect bedding, helping to prevent mattresses and box springs from becoming infested should bed bugs be introduced to your property.
  • Activated liners ‐ Additional protection for your bedding that kills bed bugs and dust mites on contact. Activated liners are easy to install over the mattress or box spring, just like a fitted sheet. The liners are thin, cool, comfortable, odorless, and breathable.
